NON-LAWYER FILING PROCEDURES IN ACCORDANCE TO ADMINSTRATIVE ORDER #2026-AO06
All information listed below pertains to the directives outlined in the Administrative Order #2026-AO06.
All filings must be filed in the office of the Greene County Circuit Clerk. Case filings will only be accepted when filed in-person, sent by U.S. Postal Service or by other commercial expedited services, and includes the appropriate filing fee (as applicable).
To file a petition or other case filing with the Greene County Circuit Clerk’s Office, please visit or address by mail to the following location:

The Clerk’s Office is open for filing between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Court business days.

ALL FILINGS, after the initial Petition, shall include the following criteria:
Case Number(s): To obtain a case number you may visit Missouri Case.net at: www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/
-OR- Contact the Circuit Clerks Office at: 417-868-4074
Case Caption (Style of Case): For example: “Jones V Smith”
Name of Filing Party: Documentation must include the full name of the filing party. Name must be legible.
ALL FILINGS should include the following criteria:
Phone Number of Filing Party: Must be a valid and current method of contact. Must include area code. If multiple numbers are
listed must indicate primary contact number.
Email Address for Filing Party: Primary email that may be used for correspondence of case matters.
The Greene County Circuit Clerk’s Office reserves the right to refuse to accept and return any filing that is illegible or fails to meet the criteria.
PLEASE NOTE: Effective March 30, 2026, email filings are no longer permitted for non-lawyer filings.
